2007-08 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Baking & Refreshments: Baking treats for various activities throughout the year
Book Fair: Manning the fair - Collecting money and assisting students with purchases.
Workers needed during school hours. (2 weeks a year)
Box Tops 4 Education & Labels for Education: Save your personal box tops and labels
or help collect, cut and bundle box tops and labels from all the classrooms.
Bulletin Board: PTA has a bulletin board just outside the office that needs periodic updates
and seasonal decorating.
Computer Work: Assist in making newsletters and updating website.
Reflections: Jobs available for this program are: judging entries, finding judges, organizing
and displaying entries, making certificates, ordering awards, helping at council reception, and returning entries.
Staff Appreciation: Help come with ideas for staff surprises every month and/or cooking
or baking for periodic luncheons.
Fundraising: Help coordinate pre-selected fundraisers throughout the year and investigate
new opportunities.
Yearbook: Use your creativity to help with the layout of our yearbook. Also needed are
volunteers to help collect orders and deliver books.
Family nights: Help plan, organize, and execute these important events throughout the
year.
Treat Day: Assist on Fridays selling treats during lunch periods.
Santa Shop: Volunteer your time during this one week in December assisting students with
their gift purchases and collecting money.
T-shirts: Help with collection and delivery of orders.
